As of this year’s general election, Virginia has same day voter registration. That means that even if you missed the Oct. 17 registration deadline, you can still vote. Register up to and including Election Day and cast a provisional ballot. Your ballot will then be researched by the general registrar’s office + electoral board, then approved or denied.
